Broken Made Beautiful
This series was inspired by the Japenese craft tradition of Kintsugi — the act of mending broken pottery with lacquer and powdered gold, seeing fractures and fragments as something to be highlighted, therefore resulting in the mended object being more valuable than the original, even in its “unbroken” form. Our God is the ultimate Kintsugi Master. He sees our weakness; He sees our pain; He sees our cracks and missing pieces and fills them in with His mercy, love, and power.
