Selecting Hidden Layers

A lot of our templates have multiple layers and sometimes it can be tricky to select the right one. We always recommend using the ‘Position’ section in Canva so you can see all of the layers in your design, but there is also a simple keyboard shortcut to help you select the layer you want on your artboard:

Press and hold the ‘command’ key on a Mac, or the ‘option’ key on a Windows, and you can cycle through the stacked layers until you get the right one.
